AFSA releases a new video on untrustworthy debt management advisors

There can be pitfalls when seeking information and assistance in relation to debt management and bankruptcy.

Consumers can be tricked into taking untrustworthy advice form unregulated, unlicensed advisors targeting vulnerability in times of financial crises and pressure.

The Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) in collaboration with ASIC, the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA), and Financial Counselling Australia has released a video about the importance of obtaining bankruptcy and debt management advice from reputable sources.
